UNDERSTANDING THE KING - FORBIDDEN ARCHAEOLOGY
The Basics of Kingdom Government Principles
In Part II I spoke a little about how the worldview we have may condition us to immediately dismiss Biblical facts when they are presented to us. This is the same situation we find when coming across a Bible passage and struggle to deal with the truth of its words. We humans can be quite thick headed and stiff necked, which is why I feel it important to establish a more solid foundation before jumping deeper into O.O.P.A.ART’s.
Let’s start with Doubt and Unbelief in the Church
(Note: You may want to look at the footnotes as we go along)
If you walk into most churches you often find certain spoken (more often unspoken), assumptions:
1. That the Apostle Paul was sinless
2. (for Catholics add to this Mary[1] and her mommy);
3. And that the miracles Jesus did were the Pinnacle of Miracles on Earth
a. Everything to come after was of lesser quality
b. Lesser frequency
c. Or stopped occurring entirely after Jesus’ original twelve disciples (the Apostles) left this earth for heaven.
This last point is said, taught o believed despite Jesus’ own words to the contrary. Either Jesus’ words are true or he is a liar[2]. And if he is a liar, then everything we believe is also a lie. Therefore, everything he said must be true, despite our doctrine.
"I tell you the truth. The person that believes in me will do the same things I have done. Yes! He will do even greater things than I have done. Why? Because I am going to the Father. And if you ask for anything in my name, I will do it for you. Then the Father's glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:12-14)[3] (ERV)
“Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever.” (Revelation 1:5-6)
Kings and Priests have power and authority given to them by birthright. If Jesus has indeed made us kings and priests, then we must also have the power and authority given us to fulfill our kingly and priestly offices[4]. He would be required by his own word to grant this authority to us[5]. Doing anything else would prove him to be a fraud[6], a usurper to the throne and not worthy of our adoration. This is either the truth, or Jesus is a liar[7]. I believe that the reason such doctrines have come into the Church is because of a lack of knowledge[8].
This is one area where a lack of knowledge will keep the church impotent and render it ineffective. Most Christians in the West are so indoctrinated with the concepts of Democracy they do not understand how to properly relate to a King[9]. Do you know how to properly relate to your King, Jesus?
· A King is only a King if he is born into the office of a King[10],[11].
· There are no individual rights when you have a King. His Will (wish or desire), determines your decisions and the direction of your life.
· The Kings words are your life and they are your death.
· When the King speaks, His Word[12] is Law. They cannot be changed until they have accomplished his will (whether you like it, agree with it, or not)[13].
· There is a right way to approach a King.
· There is a right way to leave the presence of a King.
· There is a right and a wrong way to talk to a King.
· You never go behind the back of the King, or you risk death[14].
God Cannot Lie!
Everything said in the Bible is true. All that is said both the Old Testament (the Hebrew Bible) and the New Testament, whether said by “God” or by Jesus is 100% true, even if it was written by the hand of men commissioned by God to write the words.
“When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.”[15] And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised. Men swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.” (Hebrews 6:13-20) (NIV)
God Is Good
He cannot be anything except good. “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.” (Psalm 86:5)
God Wants Intimacy With You
God is Passionate about his relationship with you.
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” (John 15:7) "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love." (John 15:9)
Walking in Authority
It is a kingdom principle that you can only operate in the authority that you walk under. Your Authority is Jesus. Your fruit is his also so that all the glory is his alone. (John 17:13-25) See also the story of the centurion in Luke 7.
Embarrassment
Look at Matthew 15. Rather than take offense the woman continued asking. (See also 2 Kings 5).
Disappointment? Accept God's Victory In His Time
Nothing ever works 100% of the time. The disciples couldn't cast out a demon in Matthew 17. (See also 2 Timothy 4:20, Philippians 2:27) Even Jesus had to keep trying once (Mark 8). Jesus reminded us about the importance of not giving up in Luke 18. Sometimes things may go wrong for years simply because your timing is not yet right. God’s timing is always right.
Agreement
Individual intimacy with God is good and necessary, but it is not enough. We really do need others to stand with us, encourage and be the voice of truth for us, even when it hurts.
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:19-20)
The Kings Enemies
Every King has enemies, how much more so the King who created the universe and everything in it[16]? One of the greatest lies I’ve heard taught in the 20th Century Western Church seems to be continuing into the 21st Century; that a person can study only “the real thing” and never bother looking at “the counterfeit.” Let me explain using a hypothetical church experience:
You’re sitting in your Sunday best at church when the pastor is dealing with the subject of Satan, “The Bible is our refuge,” he says, “There is no reason to look anywhere else. This book is your life! If you read your Bible every day, you won’t be led astray. There’s no reason to study Satan and his kingdom. You don’t need to know what they think, what they know. Just stick to the Word of God. If you look only at the Truth, the Truth will set you free!” (There might be some resounding “Amen’s” happening in a few denominations).
Pastor continues, “Listen, I was talking to a buddy of mine who is a bank teller. He told me that when they are learning how to spot fake money, counterfeits, they never—I’ll say it again—NEVER look at counterfeit bills. They only ever look at the real thing! The same goes for us Christians! Read your Bibles every single day and you won’t be led astray!”
Maybe you’ve got your own version of the story?
I don’t know about you, but after reading my Bible through a few times, I’ve seen a lot about our Enemy written in it.
Are we to ignore those passages? Are pastors[17] supposed to avoid teaching on these parts of the Bible?
Here’s just a sampling of just names for the Enemy found in the Bible. Each name could be the basis for a year-long teaching to help Christians stand firm and be more successful in their integrity and mission on this planet:
Abaddon = so called (Hebrew: Destroyer) = Revelation 9:11
Accuser of the brethren = Revelation 12:10
Adversary = (one who stands against) I Peter 5:8
Antichrist = (the one against Christ) I John 4:3
Apollyon = (Greek: Destroyer) = Revelation 9:11
Beelzebul = (god of the flies, dung god) Matthew 12:24, Mark 3:22, Luke 11:15

Devil = (false accuser, devil, slanderer) Matthew 4:1, Luke 4:2, 6, Revelation 20:2
Enemy = Matthew 13:39

Father of all liars (a liar) = John 8:44
Great red dragon = Revelation 12:3

The unholy trinity is the devil, the beast, and the false prophet = Revelation 20:10
After speaking, singing, preaching or performing in a few thousand congregations, I have heard several version of that “sermon” myself. It is a good message. There are some very important points that should be heeded by believers in Jesus, but the Counterfeit money example is just plain bad and outright wrong! Yes, we are to read our Bibles, but we are not to only read those passages we are comfortable with. We are supposed to know intimately what it says about our Enemy.
The training of bank tellers to only look at the real thing may have once worked for people handling money, but not anymore. Do you think Satan and his kingdom are dumber than the criminals who make Counterfeit money?
On Oct. 2, 2004, the container ship Ever Unique, sailing under a Panamanian flag from Yantai, China, berthed in the Port of Newark…There, F.B.I. and Secret Service agents, acting as part of a sting operation, gathered around the container and cracked it open. Beneath cardboard boxes containing plastic toys, they found counterfeit $100 bills worth more than $300,000, secreted in false-bottomed
The counterfeits were nearly flawless. They featured the same high-tech color-shifting ink as genuine American bills and were printed on paper with the same precise composition of fibers. The engraved images were, if anything, finer than those produced by the United States Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Only when subjected to sophisticated forensic analysis could the bills be confirmed as imitations.
Counterfeits of this superior sort — known as supernotes — had been detected by law-enforcement officials before, elsewhere in the world, but the Newark shipment marked their first known appearance in the United States, at least in such large quantities…
Michael Green, a former point man for Asia on the National Security Council, told me that in the past, counterfeiting has been seen as an “act of war.” A current senior administration official, who was granted anonymity because of the sensitivity of relations between the United States and North Korea, agreed that the counterfeiting could be construed by some as a hostile act against another nation under international law and added that the counterfeits, by creating mistrust in the American currency, posed a “threat to the American people.”
Now, don’t miss this next point, because it has some spiritual ramifications:
All counterfeits sent to the Secret Service headquarters, in Washington, are examined under a microscope, scrutinized in ultraviolet light and otherwise dissected to reveal their flaws and shortcomings, as well as the printing techniques used in their manufacture. This information is then cross-checked with a database of all known counterfeits…
The Secret Service has drawn up what looks like a genealogical chart of these and related bills… The chart displays the many members of the supernote clan: C-21555, for example, the first “big head” $100 (so-called because of the design of the most recent U.S. bills), which was initially identified in London; and C-22500, a more recent arrival that appeared in Macao. The family, which now has 19 members and remains unparalleled even in the world of high-quality counterfeits, also includes two $50 notes: C-20000, a small-head supernote that appeared in Athens, in June 1995; and C-22160, a big-head version, first sighted in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Thanks to sophisticated tools, including mass spectroscopy and near-infra-red analysis, along with old-fashioned visual inspection, the labs of the Secret Service have established genetic links between the family members. These links are not a matter of resemblance so much as they are an indication of a common ancestry: the notes in the PN-14342 family have been created by an individual or an organization using the same equipment and the same materials, and most likely operating from a single location…
In addition, the department put together circumstantial evidence of North Korean counterfeiting that had been accumulating for more than a decade… Daniel Glaser of the Treasury Department told me… “They would certainly fool me,” said Glaser, who points out that the “defects” of the supernote are arguably improvements. He recalled looking at the back of a $100 supernote under a magnifying glass and noticing that the hands on the clock tower of Independence Hall were sharper on the counterfeit than on the genuine.
Now, maybe you haven’t quite gotten my point yet?
If North Korea can issue counterfeit money that is Higher Quality than the real thing, then…how is Satan any less diligent when it comes to deceiving the people of God? How can the rest of the world stand a chance if the people of God are so easily deceived?
The Bible makes it clear that we are to “Test the Spirits[19],” not run away from them, or pretend they do not exist! What does it mean “Test?” It does not mean to look away, or ignore them. Let’s take a look at the verse. I personally couldn’t think of a better verse on Counterfeiting:
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (1Jo 4:1 KJV)[20]
Twice this word “try” or “Test” is used in the New Testament.
In the other passage it is in reference to Fire. It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to insist that the word has connotations of putting something to the strongest forensic tests possible, especially since the word used in this ancient form of Greek refers specifically to the purity of precious metals—money.
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. {it shall be: Gr. it is} (1Co 3:13 KJV)
In other words, the very kinds of tests used in modern counterfeiting as mentioned above, don’t even stand a chance to the Fire that we are supposed to use in “testing the spirits“! (…sophisticated tools, including mass spectroscopy and near-infra-red analysis, along with old-fashioned visual inspection, the labs of the Secret Service have established genetic links between the family members…).
Put another way, we are supposed to do something more intense than forensic tests on the “spirits[21]” we encounter, to know whether they be from God or not. 1 Corinthians 15 is a great passage to read in parallel to this discussion. As are these to help people actually learn to discern and stop being deceived as they put them into practice:
1. What are The Enemy’s methods of attack?
a. General Methods:
i. Enticement (curious arts)
Acts 19:19, Leviticus 19:31, Deuteronomy 18:10-11
ii. Oppression (outside attack) (to press against, down, under)
Acts 10:38, Isaiah 52:4
iii. Possession (The term "demonized" is a proper N.T. translation) (mainly internal).
a. Unbelievers (II Corinthians 4:4) (ownership) Luke 8:26-40.
b. Believers (II Timothy 2:26) (degree of control) Acts 5:1-11, 8:13, 23.
(For Believers an evil spirit would only have access to the body and the soul = mind, will, and emotions, and not the spirit of man which is the new creation.)
b. Specific Methods:
i. He uses surprise. Exodus 17:8 (descendants of Esau)
ii. He attacks at the point of our weakness. I John 2:16
iii. He attacks at the point of our strengths. I Chronicles. 21:1.
iv. He uses aggression. I Peter 5:8 (Isaiah 5:29), Matthew 11:12.
v. He steals the good seed of the Word. Matthew 13:19.
vi. He sows tares (the children of evil). Matthew 13:38-39.
vii. He inflicts disease. Job 2:7, Luke 13:16.
viii. He initiates death and destruction. Job 1:12-19.
ix. He brings accusations against believers. Revelation 12:10
x. He induces mental and emotional disorders. Mark 5:1-6
2. What is The Enemy’s Armor?
a. The Enemy's Armor:
II Corinthians 11:14 (appearance = an angel of light).
i. Darkness = Ephesians 6:12, Luke 22:53
(In psychology, some list as many as forty Defense Mechanisms which we use to keep from facing the truth)
iii. Intimidation = I Samuel 17:4-11 (Goliath), Nehemiah 4:1-3
iv. Ignorance = Hosea 4:6, Romans 10:3
v. Confusion = Acts 19:23-29 (I don't understand) (being confounded)
vi. Doubt (questioning) = Genesis 3:1, Acts 12:14-15 (Don't you think ....)
3. What are The Enemy’s Weapons?

ii. The enemy is like a wild animal, crouched, ready to spring into an opening. Genesis 4:7
iii. A couple examples of the open doors are "anger" and "occult involvement".

(Ephesians 4:26-27, 31-32)
b. Anger is a God-given emotion.
c. We are permitted angry for one day, but not for two.
d. If we are angry for more than one day, we open a door up for the enemy to take control of one or more areas of our lives.
"And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses"
(Matthew 18:34-35).
a. Not Forgiving Others opens the door to the Enemy
b. Evil spirits are described here as the "tormentors"
c. God is described as "the king" (Matthew 18:21-35) who is willing to forgive us, but we must first forgive others
d. However, when we don't fully accept the grace of forgiveness, we hold unforgiveness toward others.
e. When we hold unforgiveness toward our fellow man, God turns us over to the tormentors (evil spirits) to harass, control, and hurt us.
f. Bitterness is the root. It leads to:
a. Unforgiveness
b. Resentment
c. Retaliation
d. Anger/Wrath
e. Hate
f. Violence
g. Murder (including murder with the tongue—gossip)
"Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God: lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby be defiled" (Hebrews 12:15)
g. Any kind of occult involvement opens the door
"Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD" (Leviticus 19:31)
5. I. What is the Enemy’s power?
a. Satan's Power and Destination
i. Satan's power is limited.
i. He is limited in his power of destruction. Job 1:9-12
ii. He is limited in his ability to bring temptations. I Corinthians 10:13
ii. Satan's power is real.
ii. He uses magical powers. Exodus 7:11-12
iii. He empowered a witch to bring forth a spirit. I Samuel 28:12-20
iv. He wars against the angels of God. Daniel 10:13
v. He is called a god of forces. Daniel 11:13
6. What is the Enemy’s Ultimate End?
a. He is restrained until the removal of the Holy Spirit in the Church. II Thessalonians 2:7-11.
c. He comes to the earth with fury as he knows his time is short. Revelation 12:9-12.
d. He is given power to war with the tribulation saints. Revelation 13:7.
e. He has power to cause people to worship the beast. Revelation 13:12-15.
f. He is bound for a thousand years, then loosed for a season. Revelation 20:1-9.
g. He is cast into the lake of fire
i. Matthew 25:41
ii. Revelation 20:10
Worldview is everything. Perspective! Before you can jump into OOPAARTS, you need to make sure you’re secure in what you do believe and in whom you believe. Part 4 is next, and we start to get into the historical truths.

[14] Those who pray to Saints and The Virgin Mary should take particular note about what 1 Kings and Esther say about how to properly approach the King. Going through his mommy is not a good idea, as his brother found out.
