Renewed Covenant vs. New Covenant Revisited

What do you think of this?

What are Hebrew Roots/Hebraic Roots people missing who believe that the "new covenant" of Jeremiah 31:31 is a renewal of the "Mosaic Covenant"? A lot! But one of the things they are missing is key to understanding the New Covenant, namely this: that the Covenant given by Moses at Sinai was an extension of the Abrahamic Covenant and not a stand-alone message or rule of law.

If you don't get this concept, you miss the entire point of God's relationship with Israel and us. Since God is a God who does not change, you must go back to the Abrahamic Covenant, God's initial promise of making a nation. The Covenant that Jesus/Yeshua made was a fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant and made him a priest after a more lasting priesthood than the Covenant at Sinai.

What these "Renewed Covenant" preachers and teachers have done is misunderstood the clear teaching of the Book of Hebrews (Many have even denied Hebrews should even be part of the Canon of Scripture, denying and dismissing this book of the Bible, because it doesn't fit with their theology--thus proving themselves Heretics--but this is a side issue) They have also misunderstood many other New and Old Testament passages which comment directly on the New Covenant, Better Covenant, etc.

So, IF the "New Covenant" of Jeremiah 31 really should be translated as "Renewed" then, they have been misled and miss-focused on the wrong Covenant. God's covenant with Abraham pre-dates and could even be argued to supersede the Covenant of Sinai because it only of all the Old Testament Covenants was made by God with Abraham and sworn by His own Name, that is based entirely on His Word and the immutability of the One who made it--God Himself; by which it cannot be broken (Hebrews 6).
