YHWH, YHUH, YAWEH, YAHASHUAH, YAHSHUA, YAHUAH, YAHUSHA and any other such nonsense. These are names made up by various groups for their own nefarious purposes and not even possible Hebrew constructs.

I am Jewish and have reached out to Jewish people for 25 years and have a lot of experience with the Hebrew language. Aberrant and unbiblical “Hebrew Roots” (research the re-branding of the Worldwide Church of God Cult of Herbert W. Armstrong), spellings like the ones above are confusing and disturbing to non-believing Jewish people and present them with an additional ignorant foolish stumbling block to coming to faith in Yeshua. These teachings are also distressing to the Jewish Remnant of Israel (Jewish believers in Yeshua/Jesus). By the way, claiming that your aberrant spelling of a Hebrew name of God is somehow more correct, even though it conflicts with established linguistic rules, is a form of “boasting against the branches” which the Apostle Paul warns non-Jewish followers of Messiah not to do (Romans 11:18).

In several New Testament places you are charged to honor your relationship with the family you have been adopted (grafted), into, known as “The Commonwealth of Israel”, which is a reference to believing Israel, also known as, Jewish believers in Messiah.

We need to be sensitive towards the Jewish people and not to add more confusion as the name YESHUA (Jesus), carries enough offense already, let us not add to it.

Thank you.
