One New Man? What does it mean?

There is no Jew or Gentile anymore, we are all one in Christ!!

Really? Is that what this verse says?

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond or free, there is neither male or female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28).

God has given various attributes to men and woman and they do differ. It is the same with Jews and Gentiles. Each has different attributes, qualities and characteristics.

Here is a further example, see if you can see the parallels between Men/Women and Jew/Gentile?

Unfortunately, some have taken God’s word in part and used it to create this confusion. God does require an order in the traditional family, he does the same with Nations, tribes and people. It has been argued for example, that there are "Sheep Nations" that follow God's will and corporately follow Messiah, and there are "Goat Nations" that rebel against God and His ways. Sometimes nations will switch roles from one to the other.

When society alters or changes God's required order, consequences will take place! The Bible has no prejudice towards women. Likewise, the Bible has no prejudice toward Gentiles, and the New Testament certainly has no prejudice toward Jews. “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond or free, there is neither male or female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28). But God has given various attributes to each group and they do differ. That is why they are compared and contrasted in this (and other similar) verse(s).

The Bible says to submit to one another (Ephesians 5:21) but requires wives to submit unto their husbands as men have the responsibility to lead the home.

“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, even as Christ is head of the church: and He is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything." (Ephesians 5:21-24).

Accordingly, Romans 12:10, following the foundational thesis of Romans 11 warning Gentiles not to "...boast against the branches (Jews), lest God also cut you off..." Paul, writes, " Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor." (AMP).

Many men, and many Gentiles, have failed to see their responsibility in the carrying out of this relationship. This has caused many problems through the lies of “Feminism” and even Supercessianism (Replacement Theology).

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church, and gave himself for it (Ephesians 5:25).”

This is a balanced relationship and if one chooses to live outside of it much distress results. The present world-view that is anti-marriage is helping to destroy society and God’s plan for role of woman, just as the historical heresy of Supercessianism (Replacement Theology) has destroyed the unity of the Jewish and Non-Jewish sides of the Body of Messiah.

However, there is hope. In these days there are many Jewish believers in Jesus who are and have been reaching out to the "weaker vessel" of the non-Jewish Church, attempting to call her to reconciliation with her older brother and co-heir in the faith--Jewish believers in Jesus.

The Church has not replaced Israel. The "Church" is made up of Israel-born followers of Jesus (Jewish believers) and non-Israel-born Gentile believers in Jesus. God is not a God who erases uniqueness, rather, He makes these things more equal and complementary.
